Where The Joyful Things Are

I have decided to turn every ordinary Tuesday into Photography Tuesday. That simply means, I will post a picture that I have taken EVERY TUESDAY! I might miss some of the days, but I will try my hardest to keep it up. I also might try to make some of the photos meaningful. SO, today, I have a picture of my sister's abandoned skateboard. Very loved, very used, and very... alone. Sometimes, I guess, it's good to be alone. I like to be alone sometimes, but after a while, I get very lonely, sad, and honestly, bored. So I then have the option to be with other people. Some people though, like this skateboard, don't have that option, some children have been abandoned by their parents. Even some adults have been left out in the cold, whether they were fired, or evicted, or anything of the sort. Those examples are both extreme cases of being alone, but in some ways, even those people are never alone. They always have someone who is thinking about them, loving them, caring about them, and maybe even watching over them. Wow, who would've thought I could get all that out of a picture of a skateboard. So just remember, though you may feel alone sometimes, there's always someone there. :)

Well, as you can see, today has been a busy day! Abby is getting Raspberry Red streaks in her hair, I got a henna tattoo of the Chinese character for "love," and my best friend Rachel and I decorated her TieDye shirt! I'll have to post dry pictures of Abby's hair later today or tommorow. Ugh. Why don't I write about anything interesting?! Help me!!! Comment or eMail me and give me some ideas for blog posts!!!! Well, it is definitely officially summer. I'm working at Camp Wright again, I have been to Taste of Tacoma, I bought shorts (my first pair in four years), I bought neon green sunglasses, I made a playlist for my iPod entitled, "sUmMeR mUsIc!"and I've taken photos with my friends at the park in the sunshine. I am having sooo much fun and I'm *uber* excited for what is still to come. I'm so happy that Tacoma has sunshine so far! I already have a sunburn! (I *pray* that it will become a tan later.) So I will finish like this: *HAPPY SUMMER EVERYBODY!*

Again, sorry. I haven't been posting because I have been stuck in a sea of craziness and problems. For one thing, in the last two months, my computer has crashed TWICE! Plus, I have had tons of homework to finish up the year..... Just a lot of stuff going on that I would rather not explain in detail... But now the school year is over and my computer is up and running again so I can post more!!!! :D I probably can't post pictures for a while though, for when my computer crashes, all my lovely pictures and songs and documents go with it. *Sad Face* Oh well, I'll have something in the next few days probably. SO, what are you doing with your summer? I'll be working at a day camp for most of the summer, and I have the privilege of going to a glass-blowing camp with my good friend, Catarina. Also, family is coming here from Indiana and North Carolina! YAY! :D And of course, through it all, I WILL BE TAKING PICTURES!!! :) So, I will definitely blog more this summer, and I hope you enjoy yours! Much love, Emma Joy
